founder and artist manager

Tracey O’Reilly (aka "Jay") founded Bronx-based Jaywalk Entertainment after earning a master’s degree in music business from New York University, and spending years dabbling on the edges of the industry. The company name reflects the hustle energy of the city, and Tracey’s unconventional career path that she carved for herself.
Following a successful career in the public service where she provided public policy advice, and negotiated international agreements, she made the leap to the music industry. Her work experience includes Downtown Music, Raleigh Music Group, Arlene’s Grocery, and the Bronx Council on the Arts.
She now applies the same skills that made her successful in advising senior officials and politicians to help her clients move to the next level. She is a facilitator, negotiator, advocate, creative director, and big thinker. Her calling in life is to help artists elevate.
She is an interior design school dropout, writer, reader, cat mom, and a big fan of talking to strangers. She is also a member of The Recording Academy, and the Music Manager's Forum.
